Morning Fruits Shake for Vegan

In this recipe, I am going to share with you our Morning Fruit shake for vegan.

One of the things I love doing in the morning is listening to a Podcast and drinking my smoothie or Fruit shake!

And while I am writing this blog, I was listening to a very interesting topic that talks about the difference of Juicing and making Smoothies by blending your fruits.

Interestingly, it talks about which is better and healthier for us; Juicing or Smoothies?


And one of the takeaways from the Podcast with Dr. Vanita Rahman that I wanted to share with you is that making Smoothies are a lot healthier than Juicing your fruits.

Dr. Rahman said that when we juiced an apple, what the juicer does is release the water with the sugar in it from the apple. 

And in one apple, we only get maybe ⅕ of a cup of juice so we tend to juice more apples.

But the interesting thing about is that the juice that we got is now concentrated with sugar unlike if we eat one apple fruit instead which is more diluted.

So basically, when we juice fruits or vegetables, essentially what we are only getting is a concentrate of sugar and we leave the good stuff like the fiber.

So that makes me realize why we love Juice so much because it is just a sugar bomb and we all know that it is easy for us to get addicted to sugar.

So now we know that eating an apple fruit is a better way to go than juicing it.

But what if we are in a rush, especially in the morning when we are heading for work or school or something else that we need to attend to.

We want to find a quick fix for that and then there are Smoothies.

I love smoothies! They are just so easy and fast to make and the best thing about it is you have control over what you put in it.

The good thing about making smoothies as compared to Juicing your fruits in the morning is you still retain the fiber and most of the nutrients that we need to power up our day.

We make smoothies for breakfast especially during the days when we know we will be busy all throughout the day and we will not have the luxury of time to eat fruits like apples, bananas, and berries.

We also love to add our Omega-3 Blends on our smoothies for extra health benefits.

The beautiful thing about this Morning Fruits Shake recipe is that it is so versatile.

You can basically just add whatever fruit you have at the moment.

But today I will be sharing with you our favorite mix.



  • 3 Tablespoons of Protein & Omega-3 Mix (Flax Seeds, Chia Seeds, Hemp Seeds)
  • 2 Bananas
  • 2 Apple
  • Berries (Strawberries, Blueberries, Gooseberries)
  • Nuts (Brazilian and Pecan Nuts)

Prepare your Ingredients.

Combine all your ingredients in the Blender.

Start Blending.
